S.H.I.E.L.D. Los Angeles
Agent Celeste' Copeland
Young, bright and talented agent recruited into S.H.I.E.L.D. out of High School.
Daughter of Stewart Copeland and granddaughter of Miles Copeland, Jr., and Lorraine Adie (both officers in the fledgling OSS) espionage was in her genes. Maybe her grandparents were exposed to something – something that made their offspring a little better, a little faster, a little stronger, nonetheless, Celeste definitely has ‘something’ going for her.
Along with a strong moral focus, she also has a compassionate side, and a penchant for justice. When S.H.I.E.L.D called after she was observed to be a little too good at gymnastics, she was in. Being only fifteen when she graduated High School, she was a little young for the FBI, but S.H.I.E.L.D. has a way of making the impossible things possible.
She went through training in Quantico, while getting a BA in Political Science from Johns Hopkins University. Essentially completing a four year degree in three years of hard work. Then the real work began. She was essentially thrown into the training program at SHIELD and was taught to fight, shoot and pilot most everything that SHIELD uses. Her fighting style is similar to Natalia Romanova’s for a good reason. She and Clive Barton were her more frequent sparring partners as the normal agents couldn’t really give her much of a workout.
Recently she’s been seen in the company of Steven Rogers and all signs point to it being more than just a brief tryst. Anyways – she has been seen running different operations for SHIELD, seeing what she can do to make the world a better place.
